Ratepayers United of Colorado (RUC) is a not-for-profit Colorado corporation. RUC serves as both an entity in itself and also serves as a coalition of groups. RUC also does business as Coloradoans for Clean Energy or CO-force. The two names are used because "ratepayers" is a hard word to say.
We represent over 4000 residential ratepayers of Xcel Energy. We also represent business and individual ratepayers including: Clean Energy Action, LLC; ProgressNow.Org, Solorado, LLC; Natural Capitalism Inc.; Strauss Realty; Jim Morris Environmental T-Shirts and Len Aitken Productions, Inc.
Ratepayers United represents consumers who will be directly and substantially affected by Xcel’s proposals.
