Ratepayers United of Colorado (RUC) is a broad coalition of those seeking to improve the quality of life for utility ratepayers. RUC takes action on behalf of the common good of the energy consumers.

• In an era of rising fuel costs, what's fiscally good for ratepayers is to transition to renewable sources of energy, and to consider “true” energy costs that are currently ignored, such as ecosystem damage and sustainability;
• In an era of class and race-based injustice, what's good for ratepayers’ health is a transition to less polluting sources of energy; and
• In an era of ecological degradation, what's good for ratepayers’ sustainability is a transition to sources of energy that do less harm to the Earth and making lifestyle choices that use less energy.
